Use your Warhammer Fantasy models in Warhammer Old World without having to rebase each model individually.
Anyone who has played Warhammer Fantasy or Old World will know it is pretty much essential to have some form of movement tray in order to manoeuvre your units about the board.
These started off as the trays I created to bring my goblin army into the Old World and I have added more into the collection to support others with the same goal.
All of the movement trays have been tested on my goblin army (even for just proxy base sizes) and so the cutouts are perfectly sized to fit the model in without it rattling around while it is moved about. The depth of the cutout is set to be exactly the same depth as the model bases so that the surface is completely flush and, once painted and decorated, the movement tray will blend with the models for a fantastic battle field aesthetic.
Finish - Magnet Inserts - to aid with transporting your collection I have created a variant with cut-outs for magnets and metal blanks. These are marginally thicker to accomodate the magnet/metal blanks and a bit slower to print and hence a bit more expensive but, if you're a tournament or club player, these really do make it much easier to move your collection around.
On the top side, the cut-outs in the model inserts are sized to take 10x1mm steel blanks. I use black self-adhesive ones for my own collection and these work perfectly. They are situated to the front of the model insert so that even if your model uses a slotta (horizontal or diagonal) then it should still be possible to find a magnet location that will be over the metal blank.
On the base side, the cut-outs are sized to take 5x2mm magnets. Depending on the weight on the tray depends on how strong I go but it is important to not just go for the strongest you can find if they are over-specced as the tray will adhere so strongly to your case that it'll be hard to dislodge!
Alternative Layouts
I have included options for just about every layout I can think of for 20/25/30mm infantry and 25x50mm cavalry but if there is a tray size you are looking for then I can create it. Just send me an email with your request and I'll add it as an option. All costings are just a factor of plastic/time so for a rough price you can look at a similar sized tray and it won't be far out.
Printing detail
All of the movement trays are printed at a 0.2mm layer depth and so layer lines are very hard to see before painting and are invisible once decorated.
The default colour of the movement trays is black but if you would like another colour then please select the "custom colour" option and put your colour choice in the customisation field.
Custom Text & Logo on the base
As a standard the text on the base indicates what the conversion movement tray is for (e.g. 20-25mm 5x4...) and includes my logo.
If you would prefer custom text then select the option and let me know what you want added in the customisation field.
Sizing Issues / Returns
I have confidence that you will be extremely happy with your movement tray base converters and they have all been tested with my collection for a good fit but if you have any issue with model fit then they can be returned and replaced with trays with a higher tolerance cutout or a refund at your discretion.
